From Grosmont village centre head up the hill and bear left.

After 300 yards follow this road for 1/4 mile and Valley View Cottage is the last of the elevated cottages on the right (victorian lampost in the garden). A parking area will be found 30 yards beyond the house.

Directions from York : Take the A64 to Scarborough and then the A 169 to Pickering. From Pickering continue to Whitby for 10 miles. Grosmont is signposted on the left. Continue until the road forks taking the right fork. At the junction turn right and valley view is the last cottage in the row of cottages on your right.
